New Orleans even for a short time after graduation. I’m not sure how long you stayed down there but you’re out of the area too. Seems like a city that doesn’t retain students (like Pittsburgh a decade or two back).

So in a graduating class of 2,000, 400 alums a year staying in the area.

Just not a lot of good office jobs in the New Orleans area, especially if your last name isn’t Boudreaux or some shit. It’s gotten better but I remember going to a career fair for non-business school students. It was basically “do you want to be an assistant manager for the Marriott downtown?”
