mostly due to risk free promo bets.

I think I placed bets on the Super Bowl and the NCAA finals this year and that’s it.

I love playing in Vegas and bet fairly heavily when I’m there (not that often)

But sports betting affected my enjoyment so I stopped. Might place a wager on the Super Bowl or something, but other than that I don’t bet on sports with any regularity.

Funny story about Showbiz

And I don’t think he’ll mind me telling you.

He’s a gambler and golfer, so you know he bets with his buddies on the golf course.

When he was in college, he used to bet with a bookie. After a while some of his friends on his dorm floor would ask him to place a bet with Showbiz’s bookie. In time, Showbiz just started to take the bets and covered them himself. He confessed this to his bookie and his bookie said no big deal. He couldn’t keep up with it anyways. So, Showbiz actually became a bookie and that’s how he paid for college by taking bets.

Don’t tell him I told you this.
