1. we don't bring our own snacks to the airport

response - uh yes we can - have you seen airport prices

2. we don't print off boarding passes - use your phone

response - as a somewhat frequent traveler (1) i've seen plenty of people not have their pass pulled up, brightness set. etc....and (2) my work requires that my phone has a max time to screen out at 1 min. So I'd rather hand them a piece of paper than incessantly tap my phone.

3. don't get to the airport too early

Response - I don't fully relax in air travel until the plane lifts off. Its no problem for me to sit in a terminal for 90 minutes before takeoff. Plenty of ways to entertain myself.

He's tremendous, and it's a very good cast.

Curious what the timeline will be between this season and season 6. I've read season 6 combines books 6 and 7 so it might take a bit longer to bring out.

The trailer looked pretty solid for S6. I know they can push those out before production wraps.

The books are great, too. They make for excellent source material, and the TV does them justice. And agree that Oldman is absolutely fantastic as Lamb, which is the really critical character to make the stories work.

If you're caught up on Season 5, the whole scene with the paint can, and the aftermath of it was just amazing television. So was the Stasi story scene. And the fart scene.

The paint can part was actually my least favorite part of the season, just felt a bit unnecessary to have him die from a 1 in a million Rube Goldberg type of scenario rather than something more realistic. I know it’s not a super-serious show in a lot of ways but it felt a bit too cartoon-y for me.

If you're caught up on Season 5, the whole scene with the paint can, and the aftermath of it was just amazing television. So was the Stasi story scene. And the fart scene.

When something is happening, young people like to say it’s “lit.”

To me the whole thing about the show is the serious vs unserious dichotomy (sp)

Shows that can take me one direction, and in the same episode drag me to the complete opposite direction, I love that stuff. The whole Stasi scene goes from super dark to the team taking his cue, and the back and forth.

And the two characters play it perfectly. Just the standing there in a daze. It was perfect.

That is lifted directly from the book. The only change is the tape recorder. But Coe knocking over the paint and Jaffray’s guy fighting River is all in the book.
