It should have been put under another branch (Air Force or the Marines…..argue amongst yourselfs), but I think it makes sense to have it.

.."Space Force" falls under the Department of the Air Force, where they were doing that job before they became their own branch anyways.

Don't know why they needed their own branch except to be an ego stroke for the manbaby in office, somehow be even a more cushy service than the Air force, and so they could have their own re-goddamn-diculous looking uniforms.

Most guys in his shoes would have transferred out after a rocky first year where he got benched, and then you never even get to reap the benefits of the multi-year eligibility.

Better to be with an investment / pension fund group like this rather than a traditional PE group that would gut the conference for the maximization of profits.

And I get why USC would balk, and honestly, they're so new that I don't really care or think too much of what they would do.

But when an original founding member and one of the Big 2 in the conference decides to split from the rest of the conference on as big a decision as this, I find that to be problematic.

The SEC-ESPN media deal runs through 2034. If this B1G deal goes forward without Michigan and USC, they can both be out of the conference in 2036. The ACC media rights deal also goes until 2036.

Seems like Superconference time is about 2037. But then tOSU would still be locked into the B1G. Guess they're choosing guaranteed $ now and conference stability over potential $ later by signing this deal?

Washington had to leave the PAC12 because that conference died, but they aren't going to like it here very much.
