Got to experience that for the first time a month or two ago and still can't get over just how akward it is for all involved.

I just hope I don’t need to interview for a job until after I retire and I apply as a WMT greeter

Maybe by then it that job will be obsolete as our robot overlords will shop for us and be greeted by robots

They'll put somebody by the door if they can spare the staff, but the potential duties are no less physically demanding than a normal associate, so seniors and the disabled no longer need apply.

I was “pre screened” for a position by AI voice for about 15 minutes.
