My wife likes documentaries and pseudo documentaries….plus period pieces.

We’ve watched The Crown, Victoria, The Empress and to my astonishment, the first two seasons of Narcos.

Looking for suggestions along those lines.

Had Prime until 3-4 years ago when we made a concerted effort to not buy off Amazon--combo of exhaustion with the third-party drop-shipping no-idea-who-you're-actually-buying-from and wanting to make it a little bit tougher to make a purchase so we'd know it was something we truly wanted/needed.

The Thursday NFL games were always such clunkers that I didn't really miss them. This Bears game was the first time I legitimately missed having Prime. Might as well make the month's subscription count.
