Atlanta then drive to Augusta the day of. Lots of VRBO stuff available but wondering about good neighborhoods/towns to stay in. Some people suggested Buckhead as good area for bars and restaurants but we’re all flying blind. Also any golf recommendations for couple days before? Thanks.

If you're in Atlanta, I heard Peachtree Street is nice...and pretty much everywhere*

Stay as close to Augusta as you can. If it’s your only time there you will want to maximize your time.

I’ve been to the Masters 20 ish times. LMK if you have any specific questions.

Agree. Stay within 30-45 minutes of Augusta and spend every minute you can at ANGC

Buckhead is nice. I liked Decatur when I visited some friends there about 5 years ago

Might be easier to get to/from Augusta from Decatur since its on the East side of ATL.

Can't help you with any advice specific to the Masters as me getting rejected annually is a tradition unlike any other.
