Sorry all, I feel and understand your pain.

One thing I have come to notice over the years is that those in Chicago and elsewhere in winter weather areas REALLY appreciate and take advantage of the nice weather, unlike here when we take it for granted all too often.

she was seeing all the social media from her friends showing their yards and all. It is a far cry from the woman who I moved to Pittsburgh sight unseen with the promise that we'd move back to Atlanta in 5 years.

most snow we’ve had in 10-15 years. probably 16ish inches, but it’s super cold so pretty light to shovel. temps supposed to plummet this week so we’ll have this snow for a bit.

Basement pipes will be warmer than surface pipes. So it likely is a frozen pipe.*

The room with the water meter in it looks like a jungle gym. We have no outward-facing walls with pipes in them that I know of.

the offending ones and would run them the three to four stretches every winter when we'd have very cold temps.
