I would actually like to go into work but my days are probably 4-5 hours minimum of stacked Teams calls, sometimes with people I'd be sitting near (assuming they were to do in too, which they don't) plus some ever-remote staff. I just can't justify driving in to sit in a cube with lesser equipment in a pathetic narrow cubicle when I'm setting in luxury at home and on calls so much. I miss my people but I still have zero requirement to go to office. Only 20 minutes door to door. Previous Message It's pretty crazy. I'll get 20% of the work done today that I get done in a normal day. Loud people just chattering away, constant desk drivebys, multiple meetings going on for people 10 feet away...and all of the other in person issues. Plus, if I'm at home I'll typically work 7-415 or somewhere in that neighborhood. Not doing that in the office. Previous Message It's pretty crazy. here. But while I enjoy the unmatched flexibility of full remote, I’d definitely entertain an RTO job again. It would just have to be everyone in the office on the same days.
