so I'm ordering some shelves/brackets from IKEA (why there isn't one in the Triangle area is a mystery, the closest one is in Charlotte.....as an aside, there were two in Philadelphia)
6 - Bergshult shelves 5 - Granholt brackets These are for Lego set displaying
* If I order them all together and have it delivered to my home it costs $29
* If I have it delivered to a drop point (14 miles away). it costs $5
* If I break up the order in half (3/3 and 3/2) the drop point moves from 14 miles away to around the corner at a FedEx location, but it's now $6 total ($3 each order)
* But, if I have the two orders delivered to my home, it's free because the number of boxes and weight are smaller
This was a stupid exercised to get free deliveryRecrudescence
when I was making the payment, they used an app called AirDrop (?) that had me scan a QR code on my screen and then I had to hold my cc up to my phone for it to verify that it was me/my cc.
