How much of your job are you now using AI tools to do?

I'm probably at about 25%. There are some things it's pretty good at, and some it's awful at, and the things it's awful at tend to result in failures that are shaped like success, so it's hard to trust.

Anthropic claims that ALL their code is now written by AI, which is either a complete lie, or a VERY stretched truth.

Hard to say yet whether this will all end up being a net negative given that Reddit, Twitter, and YouTube are all being overrun with slopfactory garbage now.

I use the DAX AI dictation system. It has significantly cut my typing time down

and I can spend more 1 on 1 time with my patients.
Charts are more detailed and thorough and thus I can bill a level higher with pretty much every patient.
Been using for about 18 months and I've seen my billing numbers increase by about 20%.
Also, my notes are over all better and complete.

There is a mode where AI can recommend advice and treatments, on phone notes/messages but I don't use that yet as it's pretty "off" at times.

My job is mostly dealing with people now so not much help there

I use it a bunch for various reasons - there are several excellent tools for education*

Summarizing data, spotting trends or issues in unstructured or semi-structured data, and strategizing around certain scenarios.

It’s helpful with all of that.

We had already shifted a lot of reporting functions to end users, but I would think that's something AI could do pretty well. From what I've read it doesn't seem to be quite there in terms of performance tuning and query optimization, but that also seems like something it could do.

I write SQL code all day and it's easier to drop code in and ask "why am I getting this error" instead of Googling the error code. We are moving a DB to BigQuery so I'll probably feed Copilot all the table conversions and have it convert to BQ syntax for me, but other than that my work use is pretty limited.
