Yes. Both our girls and boys teams regularly played with a shot clock.

Both teams just had to agree beforehand to use it.
As my daughter's school is not in a conference, it was sometimes easier for teams to agree to play one-off non-conference games with a shot clock.
Problem was, many girls programs are so small, that they didn't want to play at a shot clock pace.

A few conferences early adopted and some holiday tournaments had them*

Effingham HS dropped to Class 2A with an enrollment of 676 this year. I heard that this may be due to the fact that they teach Driver's Ed to students from Effingham St. Anthony as St. Anthony doesn't have that program. Previously, Effingham counted these students in their enrollment. This year they didn't, and it kept them under the 3A cutoff for the first time in a long time.
