chicago?

i only ask, because the msi could take up a whole day if you wanted it to. (which is fine; my kids still love it and want to go when we visit).

otherwise field, shedd, adler (the latter especially) are all "faster" visits. if you want to spend time around the lake, one or more of those may work. the adler is much smaller than the others, as well.

a 5/6 year old would like all of them, imo, but the msi is certainly the best.

Strictly MHO, but if they still have that "star show" at Adler that would be of interest.

Been a VERY long time, but the reclining seats and star projector might hold some interest.

Otherwise, hands down Science/Industry. As noted, not a convenient location if you're staying downtown. But... for youngsters there's the model train, the sub, (maybe?) a coal mine... quite sure I'm leaving something out.

That makes sense. Probably a couple hours Friday and a couple hours Saturday *

(assuming you're staying downtown)

MSI is way off by itself, so you'll either need to drive, uber, or take public transit to get down there.

As of now it's supposed to be 70 degrees Saturday, that could be perfect weather for an architectural boat tour.
