Disney also owns the service that streams the other waste of space Mormon Wives show she’s on too, so views of that show will get a massive boost too.

They have cancelled it, indefinitely. Whether or not they change their mind remains to be see, but it's effectively already had the plug pulled on it.

I think they knew they'd get backlash, but they didn't think it would cost them as much money as it did. they probably figured they'd get some blowback, but that it ultimately would lead to more eyes from people wanting to see what was going on.
