It was two Gen-Xers and one Millennial. One of the Gen-Xers loved it when he was a kid and chose it or the pod. The other Gen-Xer and the Millennial had never seen it.

The Gen-Xer who had never seen it didn't like it because it wasn't as well directed as "The Sure Thing," and didn't feature Cusack as much as that movie had. None of them liked how broad and cartoony it was. They reserved special hatred for the "Everybody Wants Some" claymation burger scene.

Personally I love it even without Diane Franklin, and with Diane Franklin it's one of my FOATs.

Also, speaking of Gen-Xers who hate that movie: John Cusack.
