AEW feels like a rock concert at times. Raucous crowds. Seem more like die hard fans

Cody, Usos are huge for that reason. It’s going to retain a lot more casuals for that reason. WWE toned back the 80s stereotypes, it’s still kind of there with Drew McIntyre, for example. Oba Femi is positioned exotically. Oba plays up the accent a lot. That stuff resonates with kids. My kids like the exotic wrestlers and the “good guys”. Fatu, Usos, Cody, Oba, Jevon, Seamus, Rhea, Iyo, etc. They don’t connect with CM Punk at all. They understand he’s cool and a top dog, but they don’t “get” it.

I will probably still watch NXT but until the main roster gives me a reason to care (especially stop cramming Roman down our throats)...I think I'm done with them.

So NXT and AEW will be what I watch until then

AEW has a lot more to recommend it, but its top star, Kyle Fletcher, is out for a while with a torn meniscus.
