Paris: 5 Days Ghent 1 Day Bruges 1 day Amsterdam 3 days Bonus day trip to Haarlem if you didn’t want a 4th day in Amsterdam Agree with others that in a perfect world, you’d spend the night in the Belgian towns. Previous Message It seemed like a likely destination between the two would be Gent and/or Bruges, via the train and avoid renting a car. Thoughts on those cities? Thoughts on the number of days you could spend in each? We are looking at a two week trip, with probably 5 or 6 days in Paris and open to # of days in other cities.

Paris/Bruges/Ghent/Amsterdam is an awesome trip.

both are great, each can be done as a day trip. however, i liked the vibe of them at night as well,

and you could do a second day in one or each as well. antwerp is great as well.
