While I went to visit the South Dakota State Capitol building, I noticed that there was a baseball game being played nearly across the street at Hyde Stadium. The Oahe Zap (the Pierre team) hosted the Spearfish Sasquatch in a summer collegiate (Independent League Baseball) game. The atmosphere was fantastic and the Zap won 3-1. Based upon the response of the crowd and the team, you would have thought they won the World Series!

Thanks again for looking... Glenn
Used to be that "collegiate" baseball meant wooden bats. I guess there's a lot more than I thought.
