(Had to look up the date.) I remember thinking that was so far out of the window of political discourse that I wasn’t sure I’d see it in my lifetime. But thankfully things moved more quickly than I expected, especially at the state level but then, finally, at the national level. Still took too long, but better late than never, and I’m glad you were able to get married.
