I own 2 of them. I don’t know if they’re perfect but a hose reel is not something I wanted to spend a lot of mental energy on and these haven’t let me down

Unless you were basically physically pulling the hose into the reel, you can't actually reel in a hose.

And the plastic holder keeps slipping, coming apart or just tangling the hose, you start to prioritise function over price

I will pay a premium for quality and durability for important things I use a lot.

Hoses and ice cream scoops don't fall into that category.
