FC ‘26 is like 99% the same as FIFA, it’s the same game just without FIFA licensing.

Still the exact same core engine, and has all the clubs/players/national teams/etc. I think the only team missing is AC Milan so they have a generically named version of that team with all its players. I decided to buy a discounted version of it after getting the itch by watching the World Cup. I can’t seem to find a set of game play settings that isn’t either too hard or too difficult, I either score at will or get my ass kicked. But I’m enjoying the career mode team building as a couple month time killer, will probably get bored with it soon. That last games I’ve really played are AC Valhalla, God of War Ragnarok Star Wars Fallen Jedi, and RDR2. I kind of want to pick up AC Valhalla again with this England-Norway game coming up. When something is happening, young people like to say it’s “lit.”

And at an insane price, like $100. They are facing a major backlash from all the content creators for it but I’m sure this is a sign of what is to come. And will be what ultimately is the final straw in losing people like me who are still barely hanging on.

I was blown away that you don’t always get a physical copy of the game and all the friction of having to create accounts on line, etc. Popping in Tecmo Bowl 2 was a much better experience Previous Message They must have had retired coaches design the AI this year, because it absolutely cannot handle recruiting and he portal. Teams are dropping into the 60s after three years, multiple top-25 recruits are going unsigned, etc. I was feeling the itch to pre-order, but now I'm strictly waiting for a sale, and that's only if they fix the above. I wouldn't really care about the fact that making coaches progress faster is paywalled, but it's pretty clear this is just the beginning. It makes sense that they would start this type of thing with the CFB game; it's not so popular that the backlash would be deafening, but it's popular enough that they can get meaningful data on attach rates and what-not. Everything about modern triple-A gaming is fully enshittened. Some people are hoping for GTA6 to fix everything, and I think they're going to be massively disappointed.
