Maybe not in the context of the Griffin and McGonigle contracts

And JJ’s been really good.

It just hit me as a lot for a guy in his first year but Griffin and McGonigle already went well past him

Roman Anthony got a bigger deal too

But id rather lock up young players than try and spend it in free agency

Do it while they're still inexpensive (at least compared to free agents).

I guess it’s basically equal to the Carroll deal and JJ’s been really good
