Also met John Cena when he was a rookie at the radio station I worked for. Really nice, and invited me to the wrestling show, which I hated not to be able to attend due to a commitment out of town. In retrospect, I should have gone to the show.

Most of them were incredibly cool. Tony Pashos was the one outlier. Just a flat out dick. Jay Big Papa Kulaga was the best.

Kurt Kittner very quiet and reserved. Arch, Damir and Lucas Johnson were awesome. Every girl who worked there wanted to fuck ol' Arch.

They all seemed pretty cool and fun.
They actually let me touch the ball, but I had to pass it right back.
It's one thing watching them play on TV or from the stands and completely different when you're on the court with them.

I'm waiting on the sidelines to play and Marcus Liberty is on the court. He's dribbling on the break and a 5-foot-10 penguin-looking white dude decides his best plan is to stand just in front of the rim and take a charge.

Yes, in a pickup game.

Liberty landed on him, which knocked him to the ground, and then punched him in the face. Seemed like the minimum penalty for such a dumbass play.

Told this story years later to Jimmy Collins while interviewing him when he was UIC's coach. His response?

"I know he DID!"

Uncommonly nice. One of the nicest people I have ever met, full stop. Dikembe Mutumbo and Jenna Bush were also really great. Michelle Obama was really kind. Bradley Cooper was weirdly nice. Jessica Alba is really kind as well. Rosie Perez is awesome and Jon Hamm is great to everyone. Ichiro is shockingly humble

Lou Reed was the worst. Mila Kunis and Beyonce suck out loud.

seems to me that hannity's on air persona and biased (at best) content is so fundamentally corrosive that i don't think he belongs in a list of "amazingly good people."

I also think that her personal life might be slightly messy, and I really she writes a memoir someday so that we can hear some verion of what really happened. As she said, in the end, this will all be declassified.
