...what would you do to occupy your time?

Don't get me wrong...I love my job, but I'm not 100% certain I'd still come into work if I were independently wealthy (which makes me wonder about the mental state of my owners).

I think my day would consist of:

1. Gym
2. Coffee
3. Walk the dogs
4. Read and listen to records, do a load of laundry.
5. Play music.
6. Take a shift at a local record store if I could get a part time job.
7. Make dinner

That'd be about ideal for me. Maybe if my kids were outta the house rent an AirBnB for a month in a city I've never lived in.

It’s exercise, competitive without too much of that, manage two teams to exercise some other skills.

It’s fun to run full speed at something.

...but I'm married, have 2 kids (including one in HS), 3 dogs, 3 cats, and a property that requires a decent amount of upkeep.

So...

-Travel a bit more.
-Get back to playing golf.
-Work out more regularly / get back to running.
-Find places to hike.
-Do a lot of yardwork / housework.
-Learn to better manage a small part of my money.
-Read all the books I buy that sit on my shelf.
-Watch / attend more college football.
-Try substitute teaching occasionally for some cash?
-Become a better cook.
-Maybe help mrs. Effin's family farm.

IDK, but I'd like the opportunity to find out right about now.*

but if I just had enough to "retire" without all the additional disposable cash required to do that then I'd probably get a part time gig at a lego store for the employee discount, start doing some basic woodworking out in the garage, making my yard look nice, do a little travelling, etc. basic retiree shit
