Atleast video game streamers are showing you the video game play while they talk about it.

this whole thing seems super unwieldy

personally, I'm sympathetic to anyone who would prefer to watch sports without the network announcers. HOWWEVVA, it is a little odd to me that multiple individual creators have built enough of an audience that they can stream themselves watching games.
