Previous Message| The one and only hockey game I've been to was the Hawks/Blues at the United Center
Posted by bulldogmba
| Mine was Hawks/Rangers. Steve Larmer scored (for the Rangers)
Posted by Sammich
| It may be the game that feels most different from live vs. tv. An incredible game to watch live
Posted by UofIL6
| Totally agree, best live sport to watch and will rarely watch on TV. Also watching college hockey
Posted by Tbag
| I would say unless you're on the glass or near it the higher the better
Posted by CanHartlebHireSnider Also being nearer to center ice is preferable to me instead of behind the goal
| What this fine gentleman says.

| in my experience (it's been a while since I've been to a Hawks game)

| Very competent performance tonight. More of that please.

| Shorthanded empty netter to likely secure the W in the home opener*
Posted by UofIL6
| More of that, Levshunov. Very nice*
Posted by UofIL6
| First legitimate news regarding Bedard’s timeline, he’s practicing with team for first time today*
Posted by OB25
| If the first three games are any indication, there's zero need to rush him back*
Posted by KingTalkyTiki
| Hard to say the season is already over but 0-3 and looked bad doing it….*
Posted by bjl63
| Blackhawks decided to show up tonight. Which is good.*
Posted by OB25
| Sigh. Just a terrible play by Kane leads to goal and that will probably mean another loss*
Posted by OB25
| Gotta think Blashill will be gone before december*
Posted by cpsteine
| If they looked tonight like they did in the first 2, I thought he may not make it to the home opener
Posted by OB25
| Frondell looks like the real deal*
Posted by OB25
| Yeah and need him to be
Posted by CanHartlebHireSnider
| Did they? 7 SOG through 34 minutes*
Posted by bjl63
| These shot differentials are comical.*
Posted by KingTalkyTiki
| Hard to get a SOG when you seemingly never have the puck*
Posted by Ron McDon
| Effort is miles better and the two goals were really nice plays, but…
Posted by OB25
| Of course Crevier gets a nice assist*
Posted by UofIL6
| Except for Byram*
Posted by CanHartlebHireSnider
| That Frondell pass was a thing of beauty*
Posted by UofIL6
| Oilers 9 Canucks 7 - football score*
Posted by jfinsocal
| I remember the Hawks losing 12-9 to the Gretzky-era Oilers*
Posted by Sammich
| Oilers with the touchdown and three rouges*
Posted by ATL
| Blackhawks GM Kyle Davidson got a contract extension in April.
Posted by Poldark "The game was fun and glad that Fitzee decided he'd had enough football and wanted to go slap asses in the shower room."
| I hope Kaner didn't come back to play for some shitty team. Sad!*
Posted by Warrin'_Illini
| Jay Zawaski said he legitimately thinks tonight was the worst Blackhawks performance he’s ever seen*
Posted by OB25
| Found out after they played here in SLC. Saw Utah fans on light rail going to the game*
Posted by JeffFrank
| 14 total SOG? Yikes*
Posted by UofIL6
| Ooo
Posted by KingTalkyTiki
| Holy hell*
Posted by cpsteine
| There was that month Bo Byram was the highest paid defenseman in league history*
Posted by CanHartlebHireSnider
| They score a goal AND get a power play?
Posted by KingTalkyTiki Just nonstop suck.
| I'm trying not to take away too much with Soderblom in net and only two games in
Posted by KingTalkyTiki
| WTF is Soderblom starting game two?*
Posted by bjl63
| Makes you realize how great Knight plays to even keep us in games*
Posted by KingTalkyTiki
| First 4 periods of Blackhawks hockey couldn’t have been any more discouraging.
Posted by OB25
| This is an abomination. Like a ‘something is broken in that locker room’ performance.
Posted by OB25
| I mean most of the players on the team are just bad*
Posted by CanHartlebHireSnider
| And I’m used to that. Have seen plenty of terrible games from this team in recent years.
Posted by OB25
| ..but hey look, Patrick Kane is back!
Posted by KingTalkyTiki
| I dunno. I think it’s just a very bad roster and that Kyle Davidson is bad at his job
Posted by CanHartlebHireSnider
| Six years after our last playoff appearance, we are way past any excuse to be this bad.*
Posted by KingTalkyTiki
| Yup. Beat me by 3 minutes.*
Posted by KingTalkyTiki
| Well that just feels right.
Posted by KingTalkyTiki
| Could have given us at least a minute to enjoy it*
Posted by OB25
| HORN!
Posted by KingTalkyTiki
| First TV timeout, 0 SOG. Hello darkness my old friend*
Posted by OB25
| 2nd TV timeout, 0 SOG. Hello darkness my old friend.*
Posted by OB25
| 2 penalties though!
Posted by KingTalkyTiki
| That one is on me!*
Posted by KingTalkyTiki
| Forgot Bedard was out to start. *
