Miles kicked the QB off the team for changing a play.

A bunch of players wanted the QB back and the coaches told them if they didn’t like the decision they could quit. 12 players quit so the coaches suspended them for the year.

At the next game the suspended players showed up to try to assist in blowing up an inflatable jaguar I guess the team runs through to get on the field. The coaches turned them away.

I think the suspended players then went into locker room and threw all the equipment on the ground

Lovie got mad and the videos are of him and parents of suspended players getting into it.

Calling bullshit on the suspensed players showing up to the game to “help out”

Probably were there to make a scene or make a statement in some capacity, so I can kind of understand the Smith’s not wanting them around. But everyone else about the story makes the Smith’s look pretty bad.

Maybe there was more to Miles kicking the kid off the team. That seemed to spark it. Not sure if that was appropriately handled

The rest though I don’t know. Kids should accept responsibility for their actions as well. If they wanted to quit that’s their decision and own it.

Whole situations should probably have been avoided.

Lovie probably did some fuck-shit but the guy was a pretty successful NFL coach.

Red flag: I didn't watch the video or read the article. However, I think youth sports parents are

annoying and dumb and they should probably think twice about criticizing a man who made it to the top of his profession.

I agree that youth sports parents can, and often are, terrible. but just because he was a moderately successful NFL head coach doesn't make him above criticism. there's also a huge difference dealing with HS kids compared to NFL pros or college players.

and he's not actually the coach here. his nepo baby son is, and he seems to have handled this situation pretty terribly IMO
