PSG took it to Man City today.

In other news, what has gotten into STL City SC? Just clinched a playoff spot and set an MLS record with a 21 game unbeaten streak across all competitions.

City matches feel weird. They need to get the appeal done and punishment served *

Yes I’m seeing January 2027. It’s a 120 day appeal process or something *

PSG crushed them. Man City couldn’t deal with their movement at all which was kind of hard to believe. PSG was outstanding. Donnarumma maybe could have been a little better on two of the goals but PSG was the business.

Barca also looked great yesterday. Oh and the shocker of a Viking/Bayern draw.

As for St Louis City. They struggled a bit tonight to create offense but the middle was extremely crowded. Probably will be a “lesser lineup” Saturday vs Salt Lake and a chance to win their first trophy next Wednesday in Columbus

Link: From Saturday

Vancouver was excellent at clogging the middle and attacking Durkin & Edelman in the 1st

and neither one of them is really a tempo-setter, so for the first half hour, everything went backwards, then over the top or was a turnover.

Credit to Damet for the halftime adjustments. Lots of Matan rolling down or Fallou stepping up into that area to put the numbers back in our favor. Vancouver were clearly better in the first half. We were clearly better in the 2nd. Feels like a draw was the right result.
