I've gotten down a yt rabbit hole of old ambulance rebuilds

people turning them into campers, mini homes, etc. and it's got me thinking I'd love to do something like that and turn it into a tailgate vehicle

but then I remember that I don't have A) the money required to do any of that, B) the expertise required to do any of that, or C) the football game attendance to make something like this worth the time and effort it would take.

but it's still cool to see what folks do in these things.

Why do you hate me, Sammich?

A bunch of dudes building dugouts with stone chimneys in a hillside, or building winter cabins from scratch, stuff like that.

There was one guy who built a mini pop-up camper out of fiberglass and used it to explore abandoned railroad lines in the mountains.

What we've become is contrary to what we want
Take a bow

I want to do something similar. Maybe a sprinter van or somesuch.
