Next year's crop
Marco: You said, "If the rains return tomorrow in sufficient abundance and frequency, and we have no more droughts until harvest, Brazil has the potential to harvest 35 million bags of Arabica coffee in 2022." Questions please: Is this your estimate of the best Brazil can produce next year if the rains come and the weather is perfect? Also, would even this provide enough coffee or will the market still have to ration demand with higher prices? For what it's worth (one old man's opinion), I don't believe the drought will end with the return of La Nina and the damage already done to the Pantanal and the Amazon forests.
