Roasting is done everyday in small and counted batches
Meaning
If we roast we roast exactly what could be sold in a week
I dont think any roaster lost any quantity of roasted coffee
Whereas regarding demand
Yes demand is down ( from roasters point of view)
I sell 20 % less than pre- covid
People like to drink coffee in cafeterias because they want to chat
