Thanks Marco A.J. for all that information you share here in this forum - i like them and decided myself if and how i can use them. In my region we have a lot of apple-trees, so its very interesting to get the information about coffee trees. If you have knowledge with trees its a pretty different story than with corn wheat and most other non-tree-crops! the basics are that the storage of a tree is larger but if (after 5 months of drought and high temperatures its empty you need much longer than with other crops and THIS most of the smart NY advisors in my opinion don't know.(?) Our crop region is 100% irrigated but we had less rain for about a 4 months - the result was -40% apples. To invest in coffee for me was an easy calculation - such a high end product for only 1$ 2$ or 3$ is insane in my opinion if i compare it to produce apples (+-less work - 60.000kg per hectare and ~0.65€/kg) Strange world.
