He may not have run for a parliamentary seat in Rutherglen in the end, but anyone in the Royal Burgh who wishes to hear from George Galloway now can.
The controversial politician, who last year claimed he wished to contest the Rutherglen and Hamilton West constituency if sitting MP Margaret Ferrier resigned, is now offering video messages to fans, from birthday greetings to good luck calls.
The £25 video clips are via the Thrillz website, as reported in our sister title the Daily Record.
Mr Galloway joins a lengthy list of Thrillz clients, including kids TV puppet Basil Brush, Paul Chuckle from children's entertainers the Chuckle Brothers and one hit wonder Chesney Hawkes.
Earlier this year Mr Galloway was defeated in a by-election in Batley and Spen, where he stood for the Workers Party of Great Britain.
