CPB Member, I think the point that Harsanyi is trying to make is that reforms lead to revolution.
We know the don't, as I've asked before in an equation.
If...

Step 1) Defend library closures
Step 2) ??????
Step 3) Socialism

Then what is Step 2?

As I mentioned before I did see on old NUM TU banner. It had 5 steps to socialism, I can't remember them all, but the 1st was "Nationalise the mines". Well, how did that turn out again?
