I had dealings with both Steve and Judith Hart in the 1970s. Judith Hart was herself sympathetic to the CPGB and the BRS and agreed to speak at a Party meeting I organised. You mention Alistair Stewart - I had a meeting with him once when he was A NUS leader and part of the Broad Left grouping, in alliance with the CP. He has certainly moved on since then!
