poor old Symonenko
What is the point of him any more? In the occupied territories the KPRF will take up the slice of the electorate allocated to it by Putin, and in the rest of Ukraine, rather than seeking to organise the workers against the attacks on their rights by the Zelensky regime, he chooses to play cheerleader to the forces raining bombs on them. It's a confession of complete failure. I suppose the International Communism Industry will continue to wheel him out at conferences and use his name (P. Symonenko, Ukraine) as decoration for its grandiose but meaningless joint statements, but his party is dead, with no chance of resurrection, and no credibility at all in what remains of Ukraine's labour movement. It's very sad, considering that the KPU was relatively recently a significant force in the country. But more than anything else, it's beneath contempt.
