If so, then I think it is Lady Patricia Ramsay. Her rank in the Order of Precedence would entitle her to this placement, whereas the Duchess of Beaufort would ranker lower. Lady Patricia still ranked as a Royal Princess even though she renounced her title.

Thank you very much for the clipping mentioning the lesser known persons present in the Royal Box. I wonder if the lady behind the president (and to the left of The Duchess of Gloucester) could be the Duchess of Beaufort (née Mary of Teck, after 1917 Lady Mary Cambridge).
