Somehow I disagree, I believe it fits the pictures in black and white, only thing is, is that a tiara looks and fits differently on every individual head. The wedding seems to have been Scottish themed if one realises that the tiara was a legacy from a Scottish heiress to the former QEQM who herself once held the title of Duchess of York and also being a member of the Scottish nobility /aristocracy.

I might have misheard but I think it was said on ITV that the tiara was made in 1919. I think it is interesting that the tiara is smaller than the old photo suggests. When you see the 9 emeralds it looks less Kokoshnik and more bandeau.
