This Tiara is commonly known as the Franco Emerald Tiara on the internet, and is thought to be a Wedding Gift from General Franco to his granddaughter, María del Carmen Martínez-Bordiú y Franco, the 2nd Duchess of Franco, when she married the Duke of Anjou and Cádiz in 1972. The Tiara was also worn by her at the Wedding of the Count de Quintanilla with Princess Teresa de Sayn-Wittgenstein-Sayn in 1973.
