According to the Royal Collection site https://www.rct.uk/collection/4083/snuff-box the snuff box was made in 1911 for the coronation of George V and Queen Mary, which explains why it resembles the gift Queen Mary gave to George V for Christmas 1913.
Christmas gift.
In the better quality photo on the Royal Collection site, it can be seen that Queen Mary is wearing Queen Victoria's Regal circlet and probably Cullinan III and IV as a brooch.
The other interesting query that these miniatures of Queen Mary (both seem to be the same) raises is -- how often did Queen Mary wear the Regal circlet? Previously, I think we have only seen photographs showing it being worn at the first opening of parliament by George V in 1911.
