Thank you Andrew for sharing your lovely pictures!
By a sort of coincidence, I visited the Place Vendôme on Friday, and thought of sharing some pictures, until I saw that you had done just that!
Still, can we ever get tired of jewels???
My first stop was at Chaumet, where this splendid brooch was displayed:
Then I went at Van Cleef & Arpels to see a special exhibit held to celebrate the anniversary of the 'Alhambra' collection, created in 1968.
Some of the pieces are from VC&A collection, and they are quite beautiful!

A striking 'Elephant' Bracelet, from 1978:
A rather unusual 'Sun' clip/pendant, in gold and agate, from 1974:
Finally, off to Boucheron: the Maison has reissued the iconic 'Question Mark' necklaces invented by Frédéric Boucheron in the 1880s, which have no clasp and are held by a spring hidden in the frame.
