So the lady in the background remains a mystery.. and will probably remain so. Would it not have been wonderful to see photos of all the guests to this event? The fact that a photo exists of the Duchess of Kent shows that there were photographers present. But the photos are probably hidden away in a box at some archive collecting dust.
