Was the second brooch the one given to Queen Victoria for her 1897 Jubilee by the children of her daughter, Alice, Grand Duchess of Hesse?

Yes Beth, that's the one. Great photographs kat max. I didn't take my camera with me & my phone was out of battery (bad planning!. It's funnt though, I googled various combinations of ' QEII brooches', 'QELL Russian brooches' etc & various came up, but not this one & I somehow missed it on the RCT site.
