Some Anglesey jewels were sold at auctions with Sotheby's in 2014 and 2016 if anyone has the time to search through the catalogues.

The more I think about the Anglesey tiara/s the more convinced I am that the tiara on display in 1959 did not belong to the Marquis. I am not sure what the state of the family's finances were after the 5th Marquis was declared bankrupt in 1902 (??) and what jewels were entailed, but the 5th Marquis' extravagances would have seriously depleted the coffers as trustees sought to pay creditors.
