You are welcome OmerH but quite by accident, I just was watching over HM's coronation and you know how you can watch a film but every time you go over it you seem to have seen something you did not see the first time or previous times, well that's how it happened. Thanks for your picture which even does more justice to that humongous tiara and its central stone. I would just love to see them in colour and just to know something about its provenance, like who made it, maybe it was a French jewel house or maybe an English one? The tiara is just stunning and so huge, and all being in plain sight. Its design is also very simple but sophisticated and opulent. Is it or could it be a Russian headdress a kokoshnik?

The Royal Collection has this picture of the Earl and Countess.

The zoom feature shows other great big stones on the Countesses bodice. I'd guess the stones are emeralds.

This photo shows how large the central stone is while the Countess also wears another cabochon stone on her left side.
