History of Famous Jewels and Collections: Re: Countess of Pembroke Tiaras

The family seem to be a very ancient and still very wealthy family. I also noticed the jewels at her waist and bodice very heavy looking, but I would be so disappointed if that great tiara has been gotten the rid of. But if it has been sold it just confirms what I've been saying on many a post about those types of well to do aristocrats who are not evidently short of money, but seem to sell stuff maybe for tax purposes. The wedding head piece of the currant countess is also very nice.

Fascinating discussion! Looking at the structure, I'm convinced that the Countess is wearing bracelets as bodice ornaments with her Tiaras, especially at the Coronation! Looking at the size of the stones, I have a feeling they may be Indian, and the Tiara itself looks quite Edwardian. Though I have no proof, I think this piece was sold sometime between WWII and the 1960s!

Regarding the Sapphire Tiara worn by the Countess at her Presentation, I believe it is the Tiara worn by the current Countess and her mother-in-law at their Weddings!
