Such a wonderful picture and great post. The longer riviere look like the Spanish reviere worn by Queen Sophia, but the stones in the one featured look slightly larger. I always wondered if this riviere is or could be one of the ones worn by QM and if it may have been designed in a way in which it could be added to or shortened. I would definitely like to see HM wear this necklace or maybe the DoCorn.

I agree, the shorter necklace looks like a string of pearls in the Shutterstock image, but that's a matter of light and reflection. Here's another photo from the same occasion which also gives a better view of the brooch: not the Duchess of Teck's flower brooch, but Queen Victoria's diamond fringe brooch.
