Thanks....no idea. The queen was given some garnets some years ago on a state visit to Slovakia. They do not seem to havebeen worn much but then her collection is huge. Previous Message
From time to time I have stumbled upon items noting that Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother wore garnets in the late 1930s.
For example
December 1936
January 1937 -- virtually a repeat of above.
July 1937
Has anyone ideas about what these garnets might be?
