One thing which interests me is that, in the link to the online catalogue which Janet gave us, the parure is said "by family tradition" to have been given by Princess Amelia; yet, in the advertising link provided by The Royal Watcher the parure is said to have been "bequeathed". A case of sloppy wording??

There are obviously other very interesting jewels which will be auctioned.
