Attended the legendary Devonshire House ball of 1897 as the Empress Josephine.
She is wearing a tiara very similar in style I think to that which Queen Marie of Romania received as a wedding gift from her mother in 1893, maybe a popular style at the time.
Behind the tiara seems to be two separate hair accessories.
